CCTV packages
The resolution on both sets of cameras is 5MP and both systems have night vision of up to 40m. Our basic CCTV system includes infrared technology night vision while the slightly more complex model includes ColorVu night vision which allows you to see full vibrant colour even at night and in dimly lit areas. While this is not an absolute necessity, it does increase visibility and mean that suspects become more easily identifiable. While the ColourVu cameras are more expensive, the price difference is small so these are the ones we generally recommend for greater security. It is highly recommended that you get a specialist to install your cameras for best coverage.
Burglar alarm packages
Choose between Pyronix: a high end, professionally installed wireless alarm system, and Yale, a more budget friendly which can be installed by yourself although professional installation is highly recommended. Pyronix is slightly more expensive but is generally viewed as a more professional brand. The system is more sophisticated and therefore professional burglar alarm installation is imperative to ensure a proper set-up. Yale is slightly cheaper but has a more basic functionality. The Yale system is completely adequate for protecting a home; if your building is likely to be a target, it is recommended you go for a slightly more sophisticated model. It is rare though that either system would fail.
